Pictures from my four-day trip (August 17-21) to South Carolina. While I was there I also saw the solar eclipse. I visited Harbor Island, Saint Helena Island, and Summerton where I saw the solar eclipse.
What a beautiful bird. It turns out, it's an American white ibis. There were hundreds of these, dotting the trees with spots.
